This image comes from an Artist In Residency I had at Pauline Johnson Elementary.
In four sessions for each class I helped students develop, draw, paint, colour and refine an image of community life.
Using a limitted and complimentary pallette of colour, they painted with acrylic onto several massive banners that would hang in their stairwell.
This job was fun, but hard work, and I am very happy with the results.
